We're very lucky to be in a part of the country where there is always a festival or an exhibition either happening or just around the corner and there are plenty of local events to enjoy.

2024 Events

Every weekend until 27th & 28th July - NEW HOPE DAYLILIES OPEN WEEKENDS - Over 300 varieties of daylilies at their nursery in Colebatch...plus tea, coffee and delicious home-made cakes! Open 11am-4pm. More details here: https://www.newhopedaylilies.co.uk/open-days-newhope-daylilies.

Sunday 28th July - LUDLOW ROTARY DOG DAY - A fun-packed day for dogs, their owners and families with the presentation of Best In Show. More details here: https://www.ludlowdogday.org.uk/

Saturday 3rd August - CLUN CARNIVAL - Several events throughout the week leading up to the carnival. On Show Day there's a procession including marchers, carnival floats and historic vehicles, followed by Crowning of the Carnival Queen in The Square. https://www.facebook.com/cluncarnival/

Sunday 4th August - BRAMPTON BRYAN SCARECROW SUNDAY - 'Scarecrow Sunday' usually takes place on the first Sunday in August; it is the modern manifestation of the ancient Bron Fair, of which the original Royal Charter for the fair at Brampton Bryan was granted in 1252. It is now the main fund-raising event for the church and other local charities, and regularly draws over a thousand visitors, offering a great day out with fun and interest for all ages. Saturday 10th to Sunday 11th August - WEEKEND OF ARCHAEOLOGY AT LUDLOW CASTLE - Details to follow.

Sunday 11th August - LUDLOW MAGNALONGA - A food and drink walk of approximately 8 miles adapted from our Italian twin town. A unique experience for food lovers and those wanting to explore the Ludlow landscape. https://www.magnalonga.co.uk/
